Eric GarandeauJury president

Former president of the CNC and former vice-president of the Cannes Film Festival, Eric Garandeau is author and starts his second novel. He created the Aid to World Cinema in partnership with the Institut Français, which has supported film projects in more than 40 countries. Eric Garandeau is also Advisory Board member, alongside Juliette Binoche, of We Do It Together, a production company dedicated to women’s creations.



Capucine Lemaire BUK Film Festival director & jury member

French author and director, Capucine Lemaire directed short films between 2011 and 2013. In 2014, she has created a media dedicated to equality and women. In 2016 she published the first monthly issue with Hillary Clinton’s team interview during the American elections, and at the same time, she resurrected the Festival du Film Maudit alongside the Jean Cocteau committee, dedicated to the first edition of this festival chaired by the French poet and filmmaker.
Today, she launches a publishing house and works as a producer.


Mathilde MosnierJury member

Mathilde Mosnier played Phillis in Eric Rohmer’s latest film “Les Amours d’Astrée et de Céladon”, then Sabina, the leading female role in “L’Ombre de Vénus” by Jean-Luc Piacentino. She is Laura Fiori in the leading female role in the film “Notes : Laura Fiori” by Martin Ziegler (scheduled for release in 2020). She is also the French and English voice of Francesco Zarzana’s “Conciliare Stanca” film. On television, she appeared in Gregory Monro’s “Toulouse-Lautrec, l’Insaisissable”, Pierre Aknine’s “Ali Baba”, Benny Hooper’s “Beautiful the Woman” for American TV and in various series.
She also works as a singer and author with the BO Studio on an album of original songs on the theme of Cinema.



Michele SalimbeniJury member

Author, screenwriter nominated to Golden Globes in 1997, and director, Michele Salimbeni has directed short films and prepares her third feature film between Sardinia and Los Angeles. He’s philosopher and teaches at EHESS and the Ecole Normale Supérieure. He worked with Michelangelo Antonioni, Dario Argento and Andrzej Żuławski, and has directed more than forty plays in Italy and around the world.
